Each week a friendly group men and women from all areas of London come together inside the Barbican Library.The
Craft & Conversation group formed in March 2009.The main focus of the group is to give back to the community, both in the UK as well as abroad. The C&C members are talented people in all sorts of creative ways : including
knitting, crochet, embroidary , art, puzzles, and of course the conversation.For some people it is opportunity to get out of the house and have a chat.
What ever your interest come along and join in!!!!
One of the ways C&C serves the community it teaches children and young mothers to Knit/ Sew.
There is also fundraising and raffle from time to time. The sale of knitted items, exhibits in display cabinat in the Library.
The proceeds are used to buy more materials for the group to make toys and knitt clothing for orphanages,which are sent out across Europe by the " Big Knit " program.
