The Practitioner

A fully qualified and registered Osteopath has gone through extensive, training which Includes studies of scientific and medically orientated subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Neurology & Neuroanatomy, Pathology. All registered osteopaths in the UK, are registered with The General Osteopathic Council (GOC)s. Above all standards of practice are maintained in osteopathic education by all practising Osteopaths via Continued Professional Development (CPD). Further studies in maintaining standards in naturopathy includes, CPD study days, seminars and courses in most aspects of natural therapies. Including nutrition and applied theory of naturopathic principles to clinical practise.

Nita Mistry also has a broad range of clinical experience in Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.The broad range of experience gained whilst working with homeless people, to hospitalised stroke patients for rehabilitation with additional challenging work with physically disabled to the mentally handicapped individuals.The developement of these skills and insight gained in the treatment and helping people from all walks of life has, benefitted her osteopathic training.

These skills contribute to the development and aptitude, to being a good Osteopathic Practitioner.

The Naturopathic studies were included in the Osteopathic training. The Naturopathic Principles were taught along side the Osteopathic training. The academic subjects with theoretical principles incorporated in to the clinical applications and naturopathic practise. The Final Naturopathic papers were taken in 1998. On completion became Registered with the GCRN and the BNA. Ongoing Continued Professional Development maintained with study days and Naturopathic Courses for CPD.
